The Estate

Located about 30 miles inland from the coat, along the north bank of the Mino River in the region of Arbo, just a couple miles from the border with Portugal. They were founded in 2003 by a group of local farmers with a total of 45 hectares of vineyards that are harvested manually.

Wine Making

Rias Baixas’ coastline is comprised of inlets reminiscent of Norwary’s fjords and boasts some of Spain’s most stunning beaches and an endless supply of fresh seafood. Rias Baixas is also the birthplace of Albariño, Spain’s most famous white variety. In Rias Baixas, this grape shares the same nutrient-poor but mineral-rich soils and moderate climate as other renowned white wine producing regions.

Food Suggestions

Pairs well with pasta, shellfish, vegetarian dishes, appetizers and snacks, and lean fish.
