This wine’s aroma is layered with ripe black fruit and powerful spice. Fruit flavors of blueberry, roasted spices and vanilla dance on the rich, elegant palate. Structured with moderate acidity and supple tannins this wine finishes with a round, sweet oak finish.
At DeLoach Vineyards we strive to produce distinctive wines that spotlight unique terroirs in a socially and environmentally responsible way, practicing sustainable viticulture and utilizing minimally intrusive winemaking techniques. Select lots of Cabernet Sauvignon were blended to develop complexity before being aged in primarily stainless steel tanks.
2020 kicked o with ideal growing conditions. Mild temperatures led to evenly developed clusters and an early budbreak was followed by a warm to hot summer. Low winter rains resulted in smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Harvest started in early August and all things pointed to normal yields and exceptional fruit quality.
Pairs well with beef, lamb, deer, venison, and poultry dishes.
