Château d’Arthus

About Château d'Arthus

It was my father Jean CORBIERE who took possession of the estate in 1981. Located in the place called Dartus, the name of the castle dates from that year. It was in 1989, that I decided to join forces with my father to create a GAEC. A family business, transformed into SCEA which I have been running with my wife since 2016. The terroir located south of Saint-Emilion presents a sandy, gravelly or even silty texture. The age of vineyard (40 to 50 years old) gives wines of great quality, full-bodied and aromatic finesse. The grape varieties are distributed as follows: Merlot (4.5 hectares), Cabernet Franc (1.6 hectares), and Cabernet Sauvignon (0.4 hectares).
