Adegas Galegas founded in 1995, is a modern winery that through continuous investment in research, innovation, and talented individuals, has been characterised for the quality of its wines from the very beginning. The winery is located in Meder (Pontevedra) and is part of the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin (DO). After achieving prominence for producing world-class Albarino and becoming one of the strongest boutique brands in Spain, Adegas Galegas was acquired by a prominent group of Galician winegrowers in 2012. This group of knowledgeable growers and winemakers has been able to update the cellars and continue improving the vineyard management practices in Adegas Galegas’s historic vineyards.
